The procedure for phlebotomy involves taking blood tests for a range of medical conditions.
Once processed in the hospital laboratory, the results are returned to the Practice electronically. The length of time taken for the results to be processed can vary. You will be contacted by the doctor or practice nurse with your blood test results.
Please note that blood tests are only taken during, or following, a consultation with the doctor.
